Yogi Berra (Yankee Hall Of Fame Catcher …. not the bear that steals picnic baskets) once famously said:
“It’s Like Deja Vu All Over Again!”
After having “The Nut Job 2” dropped from the calendar we were left with a hole in our Autism Friendly Movies schedule. We posted a question last week asking folks if they’d be interested in “Zoolander 2” because the pickings for a good quality family movie were pretty slim. Not too surprisingly, a number of parents expressed concerns that Zoolander wouldn’t be the best choice for their child.
We didn’t want to skip a week so we looked at the available options and realized that while we’d already shown “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” (and it had been a very popular choice) the first time was over the holiday break and a number of families didn’t have the opportunity to make it. In addition if there’s any movie that’s worth multiple viewings it’s got to be a movie with wookies, lightsabers, droids, Han Solo and the dark side so ….. we’re bringing it back!
This Saturday the 20th we’ll be showing “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” as our Autism Friendly Movie. The first time we showed this movie we pulled a great crowd and it was really fun for all ages. We hope you come join us (and bring some friends and family with you!)
